I am a very goal oriented individual. I lost 90 pounds in a year. I got myself on a reality show. I quit eating meat after watching Food, Inc. over a year ago. I like challenges. So this in May of 2010, I decided to do a movie challenge and blog about it. I called it "My Month of Movies."
You know how people talk about classic movies all the time, and you embarrassingly enough have never seen one of them. For a movie buff like me, it's even worse when I haven't seen a well known film. I love to talk about movies, and being shut out of the conversations is terrible. So I decided that every day in the month of May, I would watch a different movie that I had never seen from a different year. I started with 1980 and each day advanced one year with my film pick. This is how I saw and fell in love with Say Anything, L.A. Confidential, Bubble, and The Silence of the Lambs. It was a lofty goal, but I met it, and was so happy to have found some new favorites. I decided to keep the blogging about movies, and that's what you'll find here. Despite getting a lot of hits, very few people ever comment. I wish more people would. Any movie freak can talk about movies all day long, and that's what I hope this blog becomes - a forum for movie freaks. You don't need to have a Blogger account to comment, so post your feedback!
