Shaking Obama's hand at a rally in 2007 |
Hey fellow movie watchers!! My name is Dan Barbour. I really love movies - not all movies - but the art form in general. Life sucks so much, it's nice to escape to other worlds, other lives, and other places whenever you want. I'm 27 years old, a Christian, and am most known to strangers for my appearance as a contestant on the ABC reality show I Survived a Japanese Game Show. By day I am a Young Adult Librarian, and I work with the best youth alive. Shout outs to my Loft crew, SPLAT, and volunteers who make my life worth living. By night I watch a heck of a lot of movies, read, and watch more television than I am proud to admit. My heroes in life are Jesus Christ (go ahead, roll your eyes, I don't care), Tina Fey, President Obama, and Mark Burnett. In that order.
